Jensen Huang Sees a Long Runway of AI Expansion for Nvidia

Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang has offered one of his boldest forecasts yet, projecting the company could grow by roughly 70 percent by fiscal 2028 as demand for artificial-intelligence infrastructure broadens well beyond its earliest adopters. Huang argued that AI has reached what he called a genuine inflection point.

Speaking after the company’s latest results, Huang pointed to a widening customer base that now spans cloud providers, enterprises, sovereign governments and a new wave of AI-native startups. He framed the coming years as a transition in which computing itself is rebuilt around accelerated hardware and machine learning.

Central to his optimism is Nvidia’s forthcoming Vera Rubin platform, which the company positions as the successor to its current generation of accelerators. Huang described a roadmap in which each new architecture unlocks larger models and more capable systems, sustaining demand rather than saturating it.

Skeptics counter that such projections assume uninterrupted capital spending by a handful of hyperscale buyers, and that any pullback could quickly expose the concentration risk beneath the forecast. Huang has repeatedly dismissed talk of a bubble, arguing that real productivity gains underpin the investment.

For leaders across the Middle East weighing large commitments to AI infrastructure, Huang’s message is an invitation to keep building. His confidence, backed by record results, has become a reference point for governments and executives deciding how aggressively to fund their own compute ambitions.
